Have you ever felt defeated by your Inner Critic? I hope and pray this post encourages you and you read more of "Why It's Important To Name Our Gremlins." For anyone who feels stuck in God's purpose in their life there is a great exercise in this post that will help! #HappyFriday!

Have you ever struggled with perfectionism? That endless rut of keeping everything together, that somehow along the way this is how we become good in the process? Perfectionism is a lie we tell ourselves. It's a trap that has been passed down from the beginning of time.

You know the story in the Bible where the disciples had been fishing all day and Jesus comes along and says, "Children, do you have any fish?" They said, "No," Jesus then tells them to cast the net to the other side. They caught so much fish it was hard to carry in!

#Rumination. It's what we do. It's actually the definition of what cows do when they chew on their cud over and over. And It's what we do with our thoughts. Thoughts lead to behavior, behavior effects our relationships. Research shows 80% of our thoughts are negative. That's a lot! This is why it's so important to start our day with a decision to give our first thoughts to God.

We officially have a high schooler! Eight grade promotion was last night, growing up so fast! So proud of our girl!!! @valleychristianaz

So I’ve been on this journey….. Behind the scenes I’ve been working on becoming a Certified Life Coach!!!! I just completed over 60 hours of training with a wonderful group of ladies who I couldn’t have asked for a better group! I am so thankful for Coach @kennitawilliams and Coach Danielle Marie with @clearvisionacademy which is certified via the International Coaching Federation. I wanted to be better equipped to come alongside those who have been through past trauma or difficult times in their life. I’m also working on becoming a Certified Trauma Healing Facilitator through the @americanbible @traumahealinginstitute which I’ll complete training by this summer. I will be making changes to my website and will still be blogging. Healing has been so powerful in my life and I want to help those who are going through grief and have ACE scores > 4.
