Such an amazing safari, with an amazing group of people. Can’t believe we saw the Big 5! A once in a lifetime experience. So much beauty in Kenya, very blessed to see one of God’s greatest creations. #safari #Africa #Kenya #kenyarelief @jtmccall_harrison @stoneyt @jennielsen30 @gdormois @tamisa_vanmeter @salsafran @alialkhayat8 @dr_omar_alqabandi
This trip we had the opportunity to go visit the village of the Maasai people a tribe right outside the Masai Mara. We learned about their culture and experiences some of their dances performed by the men and women. Quite interesting the women are responsible for building the mud house made out of mud, cow dung, sticks and hay. The men can jump very high. Depending on high they jump depends upon who they marry. Quite the experience! #kenya #Africa #masaimara #maasai #people #tribe #experience #missiontrip
Can’t believe it’s over. What an amazing team of surgeons, nurses, anesthesia and techs. Couldn’t be more blessed. My heart is full and my soul refreshed. Together we were able to complete 71 surgeries in one clinic day and three surgery days. @kenyarelief is an amazing organization that sends over 23 medical teams in one year to perform multiple types of surgery to the community in Migori, Kenya. The people there are amazing and so kind. So honored to be apart of this team and organization. @stoneyt @jennielsen30 @jtmccall_harrison @gdormois @lorinbinko @tamisa_vanmeter @salsafran @alialkhayat8 #kenya #africa #mission #medicalmission #hope #legacyofhope #together #bettertogether #thrive #John1010
Days 2 and 3 travel day through the Rift Valley and a site home visit of one of the students on campus at the Brittney Home of Grace. Very eye opening experience. The home we visited, the mother had been affected by polio and has walking limitations from the disease. Things we take for granted such as having access to vaccinations and accessibility to healthcare is still a reality in some countries who don’t have the same luxury. Yet in her home there is joy and a dependence on God that brings peace that goes beyond our understanding. I was so fortunate to be apart of Such a great team this year and can’t wait to go back in 2025! #kenyarelief #Kenya #Africa @jtmccall_harrison @jennielsen30 @stoneyt #mission #medicalmission #God #Jesus #healthcare #serve #serving
Here is our first day in Kenya. We were apart of Team 23 for @kenyarelief. This was my second time to come to Kenya but first time to the elephant orphanage and giraffe sanctuary. We saw a baby rhino, elephants and two pregnant giraffes! So fun watching all of them ❤️. #Africa #missiontrip #Kenya #travel #adventure @jtmccall_harrison
I had the wonderful opportunity and blessing to endorse a book for my friend @carolchisolmministries "Breaking the Shadows: How to Embrace Your True Self and Live in the Light of God's Glory." She has a quote about comfort zones which I found profound. She says, “Our comfort zones act as a shelter or light blocker that protect us from the negative thoughts and opinion of others.”
